New Social Entrepreneurship concise case

“Leah ended the call and put her phone down on the kitchen table. She could barely contain her excitement.  Her realtor just called to tell her that her offer was accepted.  Finally!  It had been a long journey over the past four years […] Leah had always had an entrepreneurial spirit but her passions had been art and teaching art […] Leah decided to take her fortune into her own hands.  The sharing economy business model was revolutionizing industry after industry. She had found her true calling – creating a community to bring art educators and students together”.

We are very pleased to announce the publication of a new concise case, Creative Community Space, written by Miranda Lam, PhD and Robert Daniell, PhD of Salem State University. The case looks at Leah’s challenges in achieving her vision of a shared community space for artists in coastal New England, and will engage undergraduate students in discussions about business model analysis, entrepreneurship, risk and financing.
